Test sticks for the semi-quantitative determination of tin(II)-ions in solutions.Tetravalent tin has to be reduced. To do this, add 0.5 ml hydrochloric acid 37 % and some magnesium turnings to 5 ml of the test solution and heat to boiling temperature.
