Cellulose Extraction Thimbles
MACHEREY‑NAGEL extraction thimbles, made from cellulose, are available in five different types. MN 645 is standard grade for most applications, MN 645 D has a lid against floating of sample, MN 645 F is more dense and MN 645 W is less dense than the standard. MN 645 R is especially made for dust analysis.

Glass Fiber Extraction Thimbles
Glass fiber extraction thimbles from MACHEREY‑NAGEL are made from pure borosilicate glass microfibers without addition of binders. They have a high particle retention and temperature resistance of 500 °C/932 °F. Therefore, they are perfectly suited for dust analysis in hot exhaust gases.

Only demineralized water is used in processing and manufacture of the extraction thimbles. This high purity ensures low contamination and effectively protects the extract.
